… to anything that is financially beneficial to us, that’s when our so-called allies get real quiet. White America seems to think that letting Black folks work in their businesses, shop in their stores, and get caught by their teachers means that they have done right by us. Well, I say that’s bullshit. Malcolm X told us a long time ago that when the wound begins to heal, that’s when we make progress. But the white supremacists won’t even admit that they cause the wound by stabbing us in the back in the first place.
