“being told you aren’t good enough by everyone you come across” is literally most women’s lives, from birth to death. Nothing we do is right. We’re never pretty enough, skinny enough, nice enough, we’re too ambitious, not ambitious enough, too assertive, not assertive enough, too picky when when dating yet paradoxically not picky enough and we never feel as though we can balance work and family.
