Hey, Anna. I volunteer in reproductive justice and I really do understand inclusive language. But for this piece, I was focusing on the push and pull and coercive nature of birth control and pregnancy in traditional, patriarchic hetero relationships, since we're still fighting that battle, along with many others. I've written other pieces about abortion and reproductive rights with inclusive language. Thanks for your comment.
