I happen to agree with the gender issue because I have trans friends. I have no problem referring to them however they’d like. It’s not difficult, and their being trans is not crazy. And no, you can’t discriminate against people if you’re working for a public school. If you never want to interact with trans people then I guess you’re free to cut yourself off from society, but conservatives will not be successful trying to legislate trans people back into the closet. This is a free society.
