I think this is true. There are also more evangelical white families adopting Black children. I worked for an upper middle class business owner--conservative and evangelical--with four biological kids and three adopted Black children. Of course he and his wife are dragging those kids to their mostly white evangelical church and trying to teach them all their beliefs. And I have to say, that man has the pull in town to make sure his Black kids are treated well by the cops and such, but I just wonder what it's really like for those kids.
