If You’re Anti-Legal-Abortion
You believe your wives, sisters and daughters deserve fewer rights than some random, brainless embryo
If you’re anti-legal-abortion, this tells me a lot about you. And I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt — maybe you just haven’t thought this argument all the way through, so let’s go over the facts:
If you are anti-legal-abortion you believe a rapist deserves more rights than your own family members. Criminalizing abortion means impregnators have more rights than the impregnated, even in cases of rape. Women will still be raped, especially in states where abortion is illegal. That means your loved ones will be forced to travel, forced to lie, and possibly forced to face prosecution if they are raped and choose to abort, because making abortion illegal in your state isn’t going to stop her from getting abortion care.
If you are anti-legal-abortion you believe a brainless embryo — something that’s legally brain-dead — deserves more rights than your mother or your daughter.
If you are anti-legal-abortion you believe it’s okay to put your daughter’s life at risk should she at any point have a problematic pregnancy, because the doctor may be forced to value the fetus’ life more than your daughter’s, out of fear of state prosecution or losing their…
