No, Thomas. That’s not what we all think. And that’s not what the title means. The essay points out the bajillion excuses men are giving for Louis CK being allowed to go back to his same job as though nothing happened. He’s not been officially punished. He’s not attended therapy. He did a bad thing and it’s absurd that he, and so many other men, believe he should be able to go back to his same job, making the same pay, and that women should have to put up with working next to a man who sexually assaulted several women who has neither been punished nor rehabilitated. Stop making things all about yourselves.
