Our Illegitimate Supreme Court
This is not normal and we need to talk about it
Despite the fact three members of the Supreme Court were given lifetime appointments by a since-disgraced “president” who was impeached twice, and is now being credibly investigated for stealing his own country’s classified documents, the US media is still covering the Supreme Court as if it’s legitimate.
To be fair, I suppose news outlets might be legitimately worried that were they to question this Supreme Court’s legitimacy too hard, it might just throw the First Amendment right out out the window, because the illegitimate Supreme Court is taking away rights at an alarming rate.
All three of these justices lied before being confirmed that they’d uphold Roe V Wade. Turns out they were lying through their collective teeth. The first chance they had, they killed Roe, effectively reducing the rights of half the country to less than human, declaring people with uteruses are nothing more than incubators. The addition of these three interlopers has energized the already sketchy members of the Supreme Court to show us just how depraved they are.
Justice Alito wrote about his decision to overturn Roe: “The inescapable conclusion is that a right to abortion is not deeply rooted in the Nation’s history and traditions.”
