Sigh. Yep. I worked in retail and was routinely instructed to "watch black customers we don't know" for shoplifting, in three different stores I worked for. The stupid thing is, you can *tell* when someone is shoplifting and it has NOTHING to do with skin color. Most of our shoplifters were white. I do not understand what is wrong with so many white peoples' heads.
