The Trad Wife Movement is a Sexual Kink Gone Mad
Given the current political climate I often think about conservative women in this country and wonder why. Why attack other women? Why make yourself a victim instead of fighting for your own equality? Why would anyone want that? How does that even work?
Suddenly, it hit me like a thunderclap: the baby talk, the submissiveness, the covering up for everyone but your husband, the financial dependence on someone other than yourself, forcing women and girls to birth as many babies as possible—it’s nothing more than a sexual kink people have allowed to take over their entire lives.
Sure, they’ll try to dress it up as “religion” and claim that it’s a “holy” and even “moral” way to live, but that’s just bullshit. The trad wife movement is nothing more than an icky lifestyle choice. And Lord knows they have every right to live their weird, deviant lifestyle, but they have no right to force their bizarre kink on the rest of us.
If you want to make yourself politically and financially powerless and trapped with your husband, and you want to teach your daughters to adopt you and your husband’s gross sexual kink, go ahead, but leave my daughter alone. I do not want her exposed to that kind of sexual deviancy, let alone forced by politicians to adopt it as a way of life. Her father feels the same.
