White Women Need to Get Behind Kamala Harris
Right. Fucking. Now.
In my humble opinion, the greatest threat to the United States of America is ourselves — specifically, white nationalism. White nationalism is the driving force behind every facet of the flood of anti-democratic legislation we’re seeing conservatives pushing hard for— legislation that is hostile to voting rights, education, people of color, women, workers, the environment, etc. — all of it can be linked back to white nationalism and the desire to keep power consolidated with conservative, evangelical white Americans. They are desperate and fighting dirty.
I am terrified of the razor-thin majority the Democrats hold right now. If Joe Biden has to switch to a different Vice President because of Kamala’s popularity problem, I’m afraid we’ll lose the next election for sure and this country will sink deeper into fascism.
I don’t quite understand the anti-Kamala sentiment out there. You’d think she’d be a center-to-progressive white person’s wet dream. She’s attractive and brilliant, looks damn good in a suit, can hold her own in an argument with any conservative, and has a background in the criminal justice system. I do understand many progressives out there find her record in the criminal justice system to be less than ideal. My personal thinking on the matter is I’d rather have her in…
