You know what else is super hard akin to slavery? Pregnancy. Childbirth with no pain killers. Taking care of children 24 hours a day, while also growing food, making food, preserving food, making & mending clothes, tending chickens, educating children, etc. Do you have any idea how many hours it sucks out of a day just to make 3 meals from scratch for a family? Without microwaves? My grandmothers used to kill and pluck their own chickens to make food for the family. They were always the first ones up to start feeding everyone else.

I know what women provide hasn’t typically been referred to as providing. Because men wrote the history books. Men have ignored, discredited and dismissed every contribution women have made to society. Men behave as if you built everything yourselves. That is fucking nonsense.
