You’re really twisting yourself in knots to justify using the law to take rights from other Americans. This is from the article you cited about book banning:
‘What grosses me out about you is that you’ll wear $28 dollar enamel pins that proudly yell “I read banned books,” while participating in a walkout where you’re effectively banning a book.’
A walkout is a walkout. It’s not a book ban. No one is forced to attend walk out. Protest is enshrined in the Constitution. No one is forced to not buy the book. The book is still available at the government-funded library and the book store and Amazon.
You keep confusing losing the culture with losing your rights. None of your rights have been taken. You don’t like how the culture is pushing back on you. Only the thing is, we liberals don’t care how you live your lives. Go to church. Shelter your children. But you don’t get to keep my child from learning real history at school and you don’t get to tell kids with gay parents they can’t talk about their own families at school. Put your kid in private school.
